C\u2019\u00e9tait un cultivateur qui ne savait ni lire ni \u00e9crire.<\/p>\n<p>Esther \u00e9tait son \u00e9pouse, sa deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9pouse. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tait morte en couche.<\/p>\n<p>Esther \u00e9tait une \u00ab ma\u00eetresse d\u00a0\u00bb\u00e9cole \u00bb.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Le soir, lorsque les travaux de la journ\u00e9e \u00e9taient termin\u00e9s, mon arri\u00e8re-arri\u00e8re grand-p\u00e8re se ber\u00e7ait pr\u00e8s du po\u00eale \u00e0 bois.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Son \u00e9pouse venait alors le rejoindre et, assise sur ses genoux, elle lui faisait lecture de la Bible.<\/p>\n<p>Une image que je trouve profond\u00e9ment touchante.<\/p>\n<p>Un couple loin des tourmentes s\u00e9culaires, pr\u00e9sent l\u2019un \u00e0 l\u2019autre, vieillissant ensemble, en paix toute simple avec l\u2019Univers, apr\u00e8s une journ\u00e9e de durs labeurs.<\/p>\n<p>Cette image m\u2019apaise.
